To blog or not to blog there are a lot of questions......
There are a lot of questions on my mind at the moment. But when is one not ever having a question to answer? (I've just provided one for your enjoyment...)
The biggest one right now is do I move back to Dublin, or be pennyless, homeless and possibly friendless in Galway? Now Galway is a beautiful town. Where I am staying at the moment is a place called Moycullen. It's a beautiful country town on the bank of a river. Very peaceful quiet and friendly. Buses run very few times a day and if you miss it your looking at a Taxi fare of around €20. The guy Ciril is just lovely. Fe and I have our own bedrooms, free accommodation, and ciril is not one to let a female pay for anything. Friday to Sunday was spent non stop drinking at almost no cost to myself. Needless to say a great way to spend a 40 hour drinking hang over is pay tv on the couch with a dooner, a luxuary I've been missing out on since August.
My point when I get to it is Fe leaves to go home to Australia on Wednesday due to the baby (we've called it jaiger till it's born as we don't know the sex all we know is it did consume a lot of jaiger in it's early stages) being a little bit more prepared then she is. And as of this date I will not only be homeless and jobless but also friendless in this town and the posing question is should I go back to Dubs? Now all you friends from Dublin are screaming NO!!! because you all want to come and visit me, but just because I won't be here is no excuse not to come and see this beautiful town. All you mates back in Aus are saying Carmen your on holidays, do what makes you happy. And what makes me happy right now is Quiz nights, The hairy lemon, The Porterhouse, and the chance of not getting let into a club on a Friday night. And of course the Australian/NZ/Canadian/Irish Dubliners I've come to know and value!!!
Hmmmmm......
Just another couple of questions I'd love answered if anyone can help me out:
- Who is the voice of fozzy bear?? I think they are a legend!
- If Maggie shot Mr Burns with a pistol and Fat Tony's gangsters with a rifle what would the repecussions of a machine gun be?(There is really only one person I'm looking for input from this one for, the same bloke who explained why pip always comes ahead of pop in Bear in the big blue house, nitty clear my puzzling mind)
- If Shrek was human do you think he could take on Sly Stillone??
Sorry this blog is not up to the usual Carmen standards. Since arriving in Galway serious Carmen is out to play and Crazy, Spontaneous Carmen has been packed away with the rest of my shoes....

Hi Carmen
From your text to Dad this morning, I would say that the answer is staring you in the face, return to Dublin. You can always visit Galway on weekends and enjoy the scenery and the people. Love your thinking and I hope Martin can help you.
Love Mum
Ok, the voice of Fozzy Bear is of course the voice of the Frank Oz, just look at the two names and you will never forget it (F. OZ) He, by the way, is also the voice of Miss Piggy and Yoda, for those of you with a love for bizarre trivia about puppets.
Considering Maggie's amazing marksmanship ability i think she would be able to handle a machine gun quite well, all those who were intended to be shot would be.
Oh and Shrek could be Sly Stallone hands down, Sly an actor, he would pull all his punches.
Cheers Martin
