Westcoast Wonderland

Well I've officially arrived on the Westcoast for a long term stint of 72 days, woah! Today is job/flat hunt day. There is loads of help wanted signs in windows of stores and stuff and I'll pop into a couple of recruitment agencies this arvo to see if they've got much for me. Talking to the locals gives Fe and I a great resource to find out how to find flats, which seem to be out there but we've just got to get on the blower and call them.

My second Belfast experience was so much better. The 5 of us had a great old time in the town. The sun was shining, no rain for the whole weekend, what more could you ask for...... A bunch of excentrics and a private room for laughter thats what. 5 min after arriving in the town we met an old bloke who decided to talk to me about random thoughts. Finding out I was Australain he broke into song about the ANZACS, Waltzing Matilda and more. Fantastic George was a little bizzare as he made pete hold his umbrella and gloves until pete wanted to rest them on the floor. Very bizzare man who traveled every continent accept Aus, but a great bloke none the less. Excentric guy number two was Foo Kin great! Again Pete and I the ones to meet the mad men, Foo Kin guy was the owner of a resturant, who knew nothing of australia, but pretended to just to get customers. Foo Kin guy sold us his resturant by offering free jugs of water (who could refuse) using australian slang 'whats your name sheila, whats your favouraite colour blue' and telling us he gets all sorts from all over in his resurtant ' we get the lot australians, kiwis, new zealanders you name it'

Love Belfast and everything that was on offer. Good times happy days and the new life is about to begin....

wish me luck and All the best for the next few weeks
